Breaking bread with: Thor Farlov
In between sessions
In between a busy schedule of workouts, studio sessions and rehearsals, we had the pleasure of breaking bread with our good friend Thor Farlov, who has recently taken on a new role alongside his music career as co-owner of café Funders, located in the heart of Copenhagen. Thor’s world continues to expand across music, style and creative ventures.
We asked him a few questions about himself, his new venture into gastronomy, his approach to fashion this season, and more.

How would you describe your personal style right now?
Spring is an exciting time, especially when it comes to headwear, which has really been having a moment lately. I have been wearing a lot of beanies, and wide jeans feel right these days.
When it comes to tops, I prefer something simple and light, usually in black or white. As we move into a warmer season, it is time for polos. If I had to choose one piece that represents me right now, it would definitely be the rugby polo. It reminds me of home, I am the son of a former rugby player.
You’ve moved through music, art and now food. What connects it all for you?
The synergy between those worlds is often the inspiration behind how I write music. It comes from everyday experiences and weekends, where going out to eat is a big part of our lifestyle.
Whether we are abroad or at home, a lot of memorable moments happen around food, and those experiences can easily become the starting point for a new single or an album.
What does BLS mean to you? Is there a specific memory that stands out?
BLS means a lot to me. In what can be a very intense and colorful music industry, it has been important to have a parallel in fashion. I became part of the BLS family at a young age and have always felt seen and heard.
That brotherhood, both with you and the others, has only grown stronger over time. We support each other, whether it is music releases or collections, and that means a lot to me.
If I had to highlight one moment, it would be Bes’ wedding. It felt like peak BLS, a reflection of the community that has been built. The love between everyone there is something I will always remember.
Has your definition of success changed over time?
For me, success is being 11 years in and still being able to live well from what I do. I am grateful that I can continue to call music my job. That is the biggest achievement for me. I am 26 now and I honestly feel like I am just getting started. The fact that I wake up every day, enjoy what I do and look forward to working, that is my definition of success.
For Thor Farlov, it is not about staying within one lane, but about moving freely between different worlds.
Whether it is music, fashion or new ventures like Funder, it all comes down to curiosity, community and the drive to keep evolving.
